A Charitable Group Dedicated to Benefitting Their Community

The East Fresno Rotary Club Welcomes You

What do we do?

The East Fresno Rotary Club is a charitable group of local business people dedicated to benefitting their community through service and charitable fundraising. The Rotary motto “Service Above Self” conveys the ideals that guide our membership. The following are a few examples of the projects that we support throughout the year.

Club President’s Message | Marilyn Behringer

I am honored to serve as the club’s President for 2016-2017.

East Fresno Rotary was established in 1956. If you are looking for a way to give back to your community via charitable giving of your dollars and or time, then Rotary is the organization for you. More specifically, if you want the option of making a difference by participating in hands on projects, we want you to consider joining us at East Fresno Rotary. Our annual fundraiser, The Cioppino Dinner, raised over $52,000 last year and that money goes directly back in the community via scholarships, local charitable giving, international projects and local hands on projects through our Random Acts of Rotary program.

Rotary is an incredible international organization of service. The network of its membership can make almost anything possible. It can even wipe Polio off the face of the earth. We are close. Please keep in mind that the motto, Service Above Self, is at the heart of what Rotary represents, so service must be the motivating factor in joining our club.

I am a proud member of East Fresno Rotary. I invite you to explore being a part of what we accomplish each year.

I can be contacted anytime by phone, email, or mail. I look forward to hearing from you.

Cioppino Dinnercol-img2a

Sponsored by East Fresno Rotary since 1975, the Cioppino Dinner is the club’s major charitable fundraiser for the year. With nearly 100% of the proceeds funneling back into the community, the East Fresno Rotary Foundation will be able to donate over $55,000 in this coming year. Prep for the dinner begins early in the morning as club members clean, cut and prepare all the dishes served that evening. Learn More

East Fresno Rotary serves the local community through its Random Acts of Rotary program. Last year the club worked on 12 various “hands-on” projects with 78 members working a total of 537 hours. From cooking to painting, East Fresno Rotary got its “hands dirty” serving the local community. Learn More

polioEnd Polio Now

We are this close to ending Polio. Rotary International launched the PolioPlus Campaign to eradicate Polio in 1985. What was once a worldwide disease is now in only four countries and Rotary has played a major role in the attempt to eliminate this disease off the face of the earth forever. Learn More
